Campus Federal participates in numerous community events to help the underserved community.
Children’s Miracle Mansion Network
Campus Federal is proud to participate in the Children's Miracle Network. Each year raffle tickets are sold in our Baton Rouge branches for the grand prize - a $500,000 home. The total raised in Baton Rouge was just over $1 million the past few years. During this annual broadcast and airing across the US, Campus Federal volunteers are live on-air taking pledges throughout the broadcast.
FIXUP! Mid City in Baton Rouge
Volunteers from LSU and Campus Federal team up each year to help make a difference in the community by partnering with the Mid City Redevelopment Alliance for FIXUP! Mid City. Volunteers participate in painting, landscaping and beautifying 15 homes in the Mid City area. Campus Federal has had strong presence at this event each year and the Mid City Redevelopment Alliance even designated a home as a "Campus Federal" home!
Kiwanis Club Fundraiser
Campus Federal volunteers participate in the Kiwanis Club's meal event by assisting in preparing meals and crowd control. This opportunity allows employees to interact with community leaders and members, while performing a different type of service. Money raised went to local charities such as the Boy's and Girl's Club and the Battered Women's Shelter, just to name a few. Charities like these are all great causes that make a real difference in the community.
Celebrity Waiter Fundraiser
Campus Federal volunteers participated as the 'credit union' for the event. All proceeds went to the Baton Rouge Children's Advocacy.
Campus Federal also participates in several LSU events:
Beautify our Community
Campus Federal has partnered with LSU's Honors College and Student Life to help beautify area elementary schools.
Campus Federal Teacher Enhancement Breakfast
Campus Federal sponsors this event each year. The funds help the teachers attend conferences and seminars.
LSU Membership Drive
During student registration, Campus Federal set up tables near the Union to help open accounts for LSU students, faculty, and staff and answer any product and service related questions.
Financial Literacy Week at LSU
Each April Campus Federal participates to help make this week successful for the students and faculty and staff.
