Business Portfolio Manager

Campus Federal Credit Union has immediate opening for Business Portfolio Manager to evaluate the financial condition of individuals and businesses related to new, renewing and existing business loans.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business loan applications and other credit and financial information and utilizes in assessing the credit worthiness of the business member.
  • Underwrite business credit requests, assess risk, note mitigating factors if any, and assign risk rating per the approved and current scale.
  • Make recommendations on deal structuring including term, maturity, amortization, rate, re-pricing frequency, collateral and other security, and others as are requisite.
  • Review appraisals and generates opinion on the assessed value and condition.
  • Prepare Business Loan Credit Presentations for review by the Vice President of Business Services, Business Lending Committee, or Board of Directors.
  • Ensure that business loans comply with current Policy as well as Regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform annual servicing reviews of credit facilities existing in Business Loan Portfolio and recommend upgrades, downgrades or existing Risk Rating for use in computing the Business Loan Portfolio Risk Analysis and related Allowance for Loan Loss calculation.
  • Work with Business Relationship Specialist to resolve pending issues related to new, renewing or existing business loans/services.
  • Assist in overall portfolio management, maintenance of business loan files to ensure current annual servicing reports, financial statements, tax returns, monthly/quarterly accounts receivable reports with factoring, and other information on the member business credit facilities is complete and accurate.
  • Assist in the review of a business’ request for ACH Origination and/or other electronic access and services that pose a potential credit risk to the credit union.
  • Maintain ‘Loan Files in Process’ report to track incomplete file items, average and file-specific underwriting turnaround times, BLCP delivery dates, and the like.
  • Continually look for and recommends ways to improve the business loan underwriting methods, including but not limited to process, protocol, documentation and controls.
  • Provide technical advice and assistance to loan officers as needed.
  • Look for and seize opportunities to promote Campus Federal Business Services in the general and professional business community.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in business underwriting
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Professional appearance

Loan Closing Specialist

Campus Federal Credit Union seeks experienced Loan Closing Specialist to process home equity and lot loans. This position will serve as primary liaison between the member, the Loan Officer, and the title company for all home equity mortgage loans and lot loans.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify HMDA reportable loans and collect HMDA data
  • Guarantee the fulfillment of all state and federal regulations as well as all credit union policies to minimize non-credit risk. Exercise authority to correct as needed.
  • Ensure approved loans meet CFCU’s Loan Policy; ensure transaction was approved under proper lending authority.
  • Work with title company from opening title to final closing
  • Manage the documentation risk to CFCU for home equity & lot loans; make documentation decisions.

Requirements:

  • One year of loan operations experience, loan documentation and processing experience; real estate documentation & process preferred
  • Knowledge of federal & state regulations as they affect loans with specifics for home equity & lot
  • Excellent math & typing skills
  • Good reasoning ability
  • Proficient in the use of PC, 10 key adding machine, Word, Excel
  • Strong customer service skills

Support Services Specialist

Campus Federal Credit Union seeks experienced Support Services Specialist to process mail. This position processes all incoming mail deposits/payments/transfers and member mail requests, complete requests for verification of deposits and process lockbox payments. In addition, handles the processing of exception reports and other reports that require account monitoring and maintenance.
Candidates should be friendly and professional and have excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming mail to include, but not limited to: opening envelopes under dual control, processing deposits, loan payments and account other account requests, such as, account closures, transfer of funds, withdrawals, etc.
  • Verify negotiable instruments for accuracy of amounts, dates, payee, signatures and other required information.
  • Process skip payment letters to include updating loan due dates and assessing appropriate fees as defined by credit union policies and procedures.
  • Open and sort mail under dual control.
  • Verify negotiable instruments for accuracy of amounts, dates, payee, signatures and other required information.
  • Process of incoming deposits per member requirements.
  • Maintain accurate log sheets pertaining to client’s daily volume for reporting and monitoring of throughput ratios.
  • Prepare and transmit outgoing packages containing member/businesses daily deposit information and backup documentation.
  • Validate member information and processes verification of deposit requests.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a financial institution; teller experience/transaction processing preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal & state regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of PC, 10 key adding machine, Word, Excel
  • Strong customer service skills
