CU Lunch Local Program
Campus Federal participated with the Louisiana Credit Union League in the CU Lunch Local Program during October 14 - 18, 2013.
What is CU Lunch Local? Credit unions continually demonstrate their ability to improve the lives of individuals, families, communities and countries around the world, and have done so for generations. The time is right for the promotion of all the good things credit unions are doing to help local businesses. As we celebrate International CU Day this October with the theme "Credit Unions Unite for Good", the League's Member Business Services Council invited local credit unions to show support for local businesses by participating in CU Lunch Local, a statewide cash mob during International CU Week. This event is sponsored by the Louisiana Credit Union League and was supported locally by our Campus Federal Young Professionals Network.
Where? Eating at any Locally Owned & Operated Restaurant or Business.
When? October 14 - 18, 2013
Participating at Campus Federal: Our employees brought CU Lunch Local certificates to the eateries they patronized during this week.
On Thursday, October 17, 2013, Tramonte's Restaurant, a local Baton Rouge eatery, brought their Food Truck to our Perkins Road Financial Center to sell delicious hot lunches to our employees and members!
