Potential DDoS Cyber Attack - Tuesday, May 7th
Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) cyber attacks are becoming more prevalent. We have been hearing "chatter" about a potential DDoS attack that may target banks and credit unions on May 7th.
DDoS attacks are a deliberate attempt to disrupt operations by flooding a website with a high volume of traffic. These attacks make it difficult for members to access their accounts online by creating an electronic traffic jam that limits or prevents access to a website. While online access may be affected, please be assured that member account information remains secure and we are actively monitoring the situation.
