2023 Campus Federal Board Nominations

Campus Federal Credit Union’s Board of Directors has three (3) board members with expiring terms who have accepted nominations to continue. The nominating committee, comprised of current board members, is placing Donna Torres, Paul Favaloro, and John Grubb before the membership for re-election in March 2023. 

Members who are not nominated but who are interested in running for a seat can be nominated by petition. The petition must be signed by a minimum of 1% or 396 Campus Federal Credit Union members in good standing, as of September 30, 2022. Accompanying the petition should be a statement of qualifications, biographical data, and a letter from the nominee that he/she is agreeable to the nomination and will serve if elected. Mail these items to Campus Federal Credit Union, Attention: Nominating Committee, P. O. Box 98036, Baton Rouge, LA 70898. All petitions must be received no later than Friday, February 17, 2023. If no petitions are received, the nominees listed in bold in the first paragraph will be seated to the Campus Federal Board of Directors.

Information on Nominees for Board of Directors

Donna Torres currently serves as Chair of the Campus Federal Board of Directors. She has over 25 years of service as a Campus Federal board member and Supervisory Committee Chair. Donna is a CPA and brings over 37 years of experience in various areas, including public accounting, insurance, along with retail and government/higher education administration. She became a Campus Federal member when she started her employment at LSU over 31 years ago. Donna currently serves as Board President for the Baton Rouge Children’s Advocacy Center.


Paul Favaloro was appointed to the Board of Directors in October 2016, filling an unexpired term. He began his volunteer service with Campus Federal in 2014 as an associate board member. Currently the Director of Capital Projects Management & Development, Paul has been working at Louisiana State University for 30 years, and earned his Master of Public Administration degree from LSU. Paul’s expertise in facilities management has contributed to the Board’s strategic planning as Campus Federal continues to expand its branch footprint to accommodate growth plans.


John Grubb was appointed to the board in 2019, filling an unexpired term. John has served as a Campus Federal Ambassador for over 22 years, and he currently serves as Secretary for the Campus Federal Credit Union Board of Directors. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communications from Louisiana State University. He is currently the Vice President of Hotel & Conference Operations for the Cook Hotel & Conference Center at LSU. John is active in the community, and he currently serves as a Board Member and Past President of the Baton Rouge Lodging Association and is a newly elected member of the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Board of Directors.
