LSU hosted the annual Campus Federal LSU Workplace Financial Literacy Graduation at the LSU College of the Coast & Environment in honor of the 19 program graduates. The semester long financial education course led by Blaine Grimes, Community Development and Financial Literacy Officer at Campus Federal, is an annual course sponsored by the credit union that has seen over 300 LSU employees successfully complete the curriculum since its inception 17 years ago. Topics covered in the course included credit, budgeting and saving, retirement, home ownership and more.
LSU Board of Supervisors Chairwoman, Mary Werner served as the Keynote Speaker and congratulated the graduates for their dedication to improving their financial well-being and the lives of those around them. LSU Executive Vice President & Provost, Dr. Stacia Haynie joined Campus Federal President & CEO Jane Verret to award the certificates of completion to the graduates.
