Meet Andrea, Business Portfolio Manager II

Andrea Bennett has been in the banking industry for over 14 years, joining the Business Services team at Campus Federal in May, 2015. As a Business Portfolio Manager II, her responsibilities include business credit underwriting, analysis of financial information, risk assessment and providing recommendations for new and existing business loan requests.

Andrea has recently received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport by taking advantage of the company’s tuition reimbursement program for full-time employees. “As a Campus Federal employee, I enjoy feeling that I am a valued team member! The organization cares about my personal and professional development. Campus Federal equips me with the proper tools to be successful in my position through internal and external training.”

At Campus Federal, we provide personalized service to our members. As a business portfolio manager, Andrea is responsible for thoroughly reviewing our members’ financial information beyond the scope of the loan request to possibly uncover new opportunities to better service all of their needs.

Andrea shares, “we recently reviewed an application from an established doctor for a new building loan for her practice. Upon examining the doctor’s business and personal financials, we were able to finance her new office building, as well as refinance her existing equipment loans and personal residence.” By recommending the refinance alongside the new loan, our Business Services team was able to help improve the member’s overall personal and business cash flow substantially. As Andrea says, “at Campus Federal, we genuinely enjoy getting to know our members to understand their entire financial picture so we can offer the best services specifically for their needs.”
