Meet Brian, Assistant Vice President of Business Development

Brian’s role involves maintaining sponsor relations, community service and leading Campus Federal’s volunteer service team. He has been serving the community and working with Campus Federal for 22 years. If you know or get to meet Brian, you know that he is truly passionate about his work. “Working with the people at Campus Federal and getting to help and interact with members on a daily basis is what it is all about for me. People helping people.”

You can find Brian at LSU Kiwanis meetings, coordinating employee benefit and orientation programs at Our Lady of the Lake and LSU, or volunteering for LSU Staff Senate and LSU Vet School. “Whether I am in the office or onsite at one of the campuses, I am working to help our members find financial solutions to their personal or business needs.”

Brian recently discussed a memorable moment with a student.

“Campus Federal regularly participates in LSU Baton Rouge’s Fall Fest.   Over the years, the event has grown to where it is now held in the LSU Quad.   During the event last year, we noticed that the food tent area needed more volunteers, so we offered a helping hand.

The fun part of the event was working alongside LSU students, faculty, and staff. During the time of volunteering, I was able to visit with a student that was a little stressed about getting money from his parents from out of state.   After asking a few more questions, I told him that I had a few suggestions. I gave him my card and asked him to contact me.

On the following Monday, we met at our branch inside the LSU Union. With the assistance of our Union Branch Team, we were able to find a solution to the student’s financial needs.   A few days later, I received a telephone call from the student’s advisor thanking me for our help. In the end, we were able to help a student in need.”

This is just one example of the great work Brian and his team does in our community and for Campus Federal members.
