Casey Coughlin has been with Campus Federal for over seven years, with the past four dedicated to serving on the Business Development team. As a Business Development Coordinator, she is responsible for presenting information on our products and services during new employee and student orientations at LSU, Our Lady of the Lake Hospital and Franciscan Missionaries of our Lady University (Fran U). You can also find Casey representing Campus Federal at numerous community events and organizations including the Downtown Kiwanis club.
At Campus Federal, we strive to make a difference in our members’ lives by encouraging our team to give back to the community. In this spirit, Casey volunteers her time as a Visionary for the Baton Rouge Regional Eye Bank, which serves to connect eye donors with those who need corneal transplants. The Visionaries are individuals like Casey who are dedicated to promoting and supporting eye donation through education and outreach projects.
One of Casey’s favorite roles as a Business Development Coordinator is to arrange employee volunteer activities for Campus Federal’s Service Solution Team. This year, the Eye Bank was a recipient of the Inner Wheel Club of Baton Rouge’s annual Attic Trash and Treasure Sale in March. As a Visionary for the Eye Bank, Casey was especially grateful to have several members of her Campus Federal family volunteer their time to help with the event. Those volunteer hours helped contribute to the tremendous overall effort for the Eye Bank, which received proceeds from the fundraising event totaling $103,000.
At Campus Federal, Casey truly feels she is a valued member of a family, not just a numbered employee. “Everyone works together for the greater good of the credit union, doing what is best for our members and our community. My Campus Federal family is why I love going to work every day.”
