Sadhana Gera celebrated her 20 year anniversary on the Campus Federal team this year. Sadhana began her career at the credit union in 1998 as a part-time teller, and was promoted to Member Service Representative soon after. She now serves as a Financial Service Representative, where she assists members with inquiries, account transactions and more. “I love meeting our members and finding ways to help them with their financial needs,” she shared.
As a Financial Service Representative, Sadhana is able to assist members with finding a way to navigate a path from their current financial state to where they want to be on their financial journey. She has an innate talent for identifying members’ needs and providing practical solutions that make a true difference in their lives.
A few years ago, a member applied and was declined for a loan based on credit criteria. Although she had sufficient income to qualify for the loan, her credit score was not sufficient. “I explained to her the reason it was being declined and offered suggestions on ways to improve her score and manage her funds,” Sadhana said.
Three years later, after putting the insights Sadhana had offered into practice, the same member applied again and this time she was approved. “She was so happy, she brought me flowers on Mother’s Day,” Sadhana said. “Her note to me read, “You taught me what my mother should have taught me. You are like a mother to me.’”
