A digitally focused Campus Federal Credit Union will occupy a 1,700-square-foot space in the office park that’s under construction in Long Farm Village, the mixed-use development at the intersection of Old Jefferson Highway and Antioch Road. The new branch location will feature a “Campus Federal Interaction Center” where members and guests can interact with technology alongside dedicated in-office employees, who can then connect members to Campus Federal employees with expertise in certain areas in an “Expert Nearby” room.

The IRS unveiled their new "Get My Payment" tool that allows you to check on the status of your Economic Impact Payment and to confirm whether you want to use direct deposit (recommended for faster payment) or have a check mailed to you. Keep in mind, due to high demand you may have to wait a little while to gain access to the site.

U.S. citizens or resident aliens who have a valid Social Security number, cannot be claimed as a dependent on another taxpayers tax return and had adjusted gross income under $12,200 ($24,400 for married couples) for 2019 would be considered Non-Filers. In order to receive the Economic Impact Payment, these eligible U.S. citizens or permanent residents should provide their information to the IRS.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has now provided additional information about the IRS stimulus payments, known as Economic Impact Payments or COVID-relief checks. The deadline to file and pay federal income taxes has been extended to July 15, 2020, but if you have already filed your 2019 tax returns, the IRS will use this information to calculate the payment amount. If you have not yet filed your return for 2019, the IRS will use information from your 2018 tax filing to calculate the payment. The economic impact payment will be deposited directly into the same bank account reflected on the return filed.

Campus Classic and Lagniappe Checking account holders are given the opportunity each month to earn the reward of having their account fee waived by meeting certain criteria, including the number of times their debit card is used for purchases. To alleviate some of the financial burden many our members are feeling during the Stay at Home order, we have waived the maintenance account fees for these two accounts for March and April.
