Features

Online banking includes a wealth of features, giving you convenience and control over your finances.

Features and Details:

Balances

  • This feature offers the ability to view balances of all open accounts.
    • The available balance may differ from the account balance if debit card transactions have been authorized but have not been posted.
  • The balance page is the default page once logged into your account.

History

  • This feature offers the ability to view all transaction history, withdrawal history only, or deposit history only.


  • How to access this feature:
    • After you log into Online Banking, simply select the History feature from the Accounts drop-down menu.

Calendar

  • This feature lets you view your accounts in the context of an online calendar
  • with the flexibility to view all or just a few - it's your choice.

  • Viewable accounts include:
    • Deposit accounts
    • Loan accounts
    • Bill-pay activity
    • One-time and scheduled transfers
    • Daily reminders set through e-notesSM
  • How to access this feature:
    • After you log into Online Banking, simply select the Calendar feature from the Accounts drop-down menu.

eStatements

  • Allows users to sign up to stop receiving paper statements via mail.
  • Enables users to view electronic versions of financial statements.

  • To Sign up for this feature :
      • Log into Online Banking, click the top menu option titled eStatements, read and accept the disclosures, and you are enrolled.

Transfer

  • This feature allows you to transfer funds immediately between all accounts and loans. Also offers an optional memo line to enter notes that will explain the transfer.


  • How to access this feature:
    • After you log into Online Banking, simply select the Transfer feature from the Accounts drop-down menu.

Scheduled Transfer

  • This feature allows you to schedule future transfers of funds between all accounts and loans. Also offers an optional memo line to enter notes that will explain the transfer and the capability to recieve an e-notesSM alert confirmation.


  • The following frequency options are available:
    • One time
    • Daily
    • Weekly
    • Bi-weekly
    • Monthly
    • Twice-monthly
    • Quarterly
    • Every four weeks

  • Once a transfer is scheduled, you can view or edit pending scheduled transfers on the main Schedule Transfer page.


  • How to access this feature:
    • After you log into Online Banking, simply select the Scheduled Transfer feature from the Accounts drop-down menu then click "Add New Scheduled Transfer" to get started.

Scheduled Transfers History

  • View completed Scheduled Transfer transactions in a cumulative transaction log.


  • How to access this feature:
    • After you log into Online Banking, simply select the Scheduled Transfer History feature from the Accounts drop-down menu.

External Funds Transfer

  • Enables you to send or receive funds from external accounts and from a third party.*


  • Two types of External Funds Transfer:
    • A2A- Account to Account Transfers - Transfer funds in or out of your Campus Federal checking account to an external account you have at another financial institution. Example: Funds can be sent from Campus Federal to Capital One or vice-versa.
    • P2P- Person to Person Transfers - Send funds or request to receive payments to or from a third party's account at Campus Federal or any other financial institution. Example: Pay or request a payment from someone to be reimbursed for lunch.
  • Accessing the External Funds Transfer Portal within Online Banking:
    • Click on Send Payment or Receive Payment under the Transfer tab. Once in the portal, select if you want to transfer between your accounts or to make a payment to another person.

*Must be enrolled in Online Banking and have an active checking account.

Year to Date

  • View interest earned or paid on an account in the current year to date, and the most recent full calendar year.


  • How to access this feature:
    • After you log into Online Banking, simply select the Year to Date feature from the Accounts drop-down menu.

Download

  • Use this feature for downloading deposit account history into your personal finance software program such as Microsoft Money® or Quicken®, or to build spreadsheets or databases of your financial transaction history.


  • You can download financial data from your Online Banking accounts in the following formats:
      • Quicken® OFX
        • Automatically sets up account in Quicken® on first time use
        • Automatic download to Quicken®
        • Supports current-year software and two previous-year versions
      • MS Money® OFX
        • Automatically sets up account in Microsoft Money® on first time use
        • Automatic download to Microsoft Money®
        • Supports current-year software and two previous-year versions
      • QIF
        • Manual download used for financial software
        • User must save to their computer or storage device, then import into their financial software
      • Excel®
        • Manual download used for Excel®
        • User must save to their computer or storage device then import into their financial software
      • Comma Separated
        • Manual download used for word processing documents or database
        • User must save to their computer or storage device then import into their word processing software program or database
    • How to access this feature:
      • Log into Online Banking and select the Download feature from the Accounts drop-down menu.
      • Note for Quicken Users:
          • For proper new account setup the process should be started in Online Banking using the format Quicken OFX.

Check Images

  • This feature allows you to view an electronic check image by clicking on the check number hyperlink, which can be found in the following sections: Account details, Account history, Check history, and Check status.


  • Check images through Online Banking are available up to 1 year.
    • Images beyond a year will have to be requested and fees may apply.

Check History

  • This feature allows you to choose a time frame to view electronic check images by selecting a date range. The results page will supply a date and a check number that is hyperlinked to an electronic check image and check amount.


  • How to access this feature:
    • Log into Online Banking and select the Check History feature from the Check Services drop-down menu.

Check Status

  • This feature allows you to research the status of a particular check using the check number.


  • How to access this feature:
    • Log into Online Banking and select the Check Status feature from the Check Services drop-down menu.

Check Reorder

  • This feature provides access to reorder your checks through Member Web. This interactive site allows you to view the entire catalog of checks, change fonts, add images and request an email notification when your checks ship. Your reorder slip is all you need to get started.


  • If you don't have your reorder slip, you can still order checks without coming into a branch. Simply browse the catalog, select a check style and fill out the check order form, or call Teleservice. You will receive your new checks within 7-10 business days.


  • How to access this feature:
    • Log into Online Banking and select the Reorder Checks feature from the Check Services drop-down menu.

Check Withdrawal

  • This feature allows you to request a withdrawal of a specific amount of money from your checking account and have a check mailed to you. For security reasons, the check can only be mailed to your address on our records.


  • How to access this feature:
    • Log into Online Banking and select the Check Withdrawal feature from the Check Services drop-down menu.

Bill Payer

  • This feature allows you to save time and money by paying bills within our Online Banking system.


  • Benefits:
    • This services is free and allows unlimited bill payments and payees.
    • Pay anyone -- from your power company or doctor to your neighborhood lawn service (no account number needed).
    • Schedule single or recurring payments up to a year in advance.
    • Review pending payments and have access to your full payment history.
    • Edit payments anytime before the process date.
    • Easy payment scheduling - select the payee, amount and payment date, then click to pay!
  • Requirements:
    • Must use Campus Federal checking account with service.
    • Payments should be no less than six business days before the actual payment due date (not the late date and/or a date in the grace period).
    • Must use a browser installed on your computer which is capable of 128-bit security encryption.
  • Payment types available:
    • Payments may be submitted electronically via the Automated Clearing House (ACH) or by a check. The method of payment depends upon the processing method that can be accommodated by the Payee (e.g., some Payees are unable to accept electronic payments).
  • The following payment types are prohibited through the service:
    • Tax payments.
    • Court-ordered payments.
    • Payments to payees outside of the United States or its territories (i.e., American Samoa, Guam, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, N. Mariana Islands, Palau, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands) or receiving mail at an FPO or APO address (APO - Abroad, APO - America or APO - Pacific).
  • How to get started:
    • Log into Online Banking and simply select the Account Setup feature from the Bill Payer drop-down menu.

Mobile Banking

  • Conduct secure Online Banking from anywhere, at any time using your Web-enabled mobile device. You can check your balances, view your account history, and even make transfers.

  • Requirements:
    • A Web-enabled cell phone or PDA and a Web package from a service provider that supports wml.
    • The New User Setup process for online banking must be completed.
  • Accessing the site:
    • On your mobile device (cell phone or PDA), type in: https://s87.lanxtra.com/1.wml
      • If using a Razr model cell phone, please use the following link: https://s87.lanxtra.com/razr.wml

Security Features

  • Security Key
    • The Security Key is a personalized word, number or short phrase that is displayed at the top of the Balance page when you log into Online Banking. It is designed to let you know that you are in your official Campus Federal Online Banking account. If your Security Key is not present on the login page that asks for your PIN/FAC code or at the top of the page when you login, contact Campus Federal immediately.

    • To View or edit the Security Key:
      • Log into Online Banking and select the Security Settings feature from the Options drop-down menu.
  • Online Banking Statistics
    • View all activity that has occurred within your Online Banking site, such as: Number of transactions per month, Date, Time & IP Address that has accessed your account.

      • To view activity:
        • Log into Online Banking and select the Online Banking Statistics feature from the Options drop-down menu
    • Track Last Valid and Invalid Login Attempt
      • View last valid or invalid login date, time and IP address that accessed your Online Banking account.
      • Log into Online Banking and simply select the Account Info feature from the Options drop-down menu.
  • Add or Edit Email Address
    • To Add, View or Edit your email address within Online Banking, simply select the Account Info feature from the Options drop-down menu.
  • Secure Messaging
    • This feature allows Campus Federal to send updates about your account or our services.
      • When you have a message from Campus Federal, you will see the following on the balance page within your Online Banking account:
        • You have 1 credit union request(s) waiting for reply.
    • You can use Secure Messaging to send a secure (SSL encrypted) message to be answered by Campus Federal. This protects your sensitive financial information, such as account numbers and balances from interception by third-party email services. Our Teleservice representatives read these messages on a secure, private, firewall-protected server and the answer you receive travels over the same SSL encryption that protects your Internet banking session.
    • How to access Secure Messaging:
      • Log into Online Banking, simply select the Secure Messaging from the Options drop-down menu or click the question mark icons to the right of the account or transaction.

Customize your account

  • Custom Start Page
    • By default, your start page upon login is set to the Balance page to view messages and all open accounts. You may select other start pages as desired.
  • Session Time
    • Change Session Time to either 1, 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes.
    • Show or Hide Session Time Out Counter
      • This timer resets each time you go to a new page. Simply click the "Show" button to activate or hide the counter by pressing "Hide".
  • Alternative Login Name
    • This feature lets you authenticate into Online Banking using an alternate login such as your first name or other user name instead of your member number.
      • The minimum length is five characters and the maximum is 20.
  • Account Nickname
    • Use the account nickname feature to customize your account names. (i.e. instead of "Share" you can change it to "Sue's Savings").
