When an eligible payment is sent to your account through FedNow®, the money is generally available to use within seconds.*
FedNow® operate 24/7/365, so payments can be received outside normal business hours, including weekends and holidays.*
Payments move through secure payment networks, so your account information stays protected.
Important Information
Campus Federal can receive eligible FedNow® payments. We do not control when the sender starts the payment or whether the sender chooses to use FedNow®.
Instant payment availability depends on the sending financial institution or payment provider and accurate deposit account information.
Campus Federal does not charge members to receive FedNow® payments. The sender or sending institution may charge a fee.
Standard account terms, limits and fraud prevention measures may apply.
Common uses may include payroll payments, transfers from other financial institutions, payments from businesses or government agencies and transfers from participating payment apps or digital wallets.
Check with the sender to see if they offer FedNow® instant payments.
At this time, Campus Federal members can only receive instant payments through FedNow®. Sending instant payments from a Campus Federal account is not currently available.

This network allows participating financial institutions to move eligible payments between accounts within seconds.
No. You do not need to enroll to receive an eligible instant payment into your Campus Federal account.
No. A payment can only arrive instantly if both the sender’s financial institution or payment provider and the receiving financial institution support the same instant payment network, and accurate deposit account information is provided.
Other payment types, such as ACH transfers, checks or standard external transfers, may still take longer to process.
Unlike other payment apps that may hold your funds for a few days or charge extra fees for same-day transfers, FedNow® payments are routed directly to your account in real-time. This means your money is available to you when you need it, without unnecessary delays or fees.
*We can accept FedNow® payments to your checking, savings and Money Market accounts. However, these payments cannot be directly applied to Campus Federal loan products. FedNow® transactions are only available between accounts located within the United States. This applies even when sending or receiving funds on behalf of another person. All individuals who send, receive or benefit from a FedNow® transaction must reside in the United States. Funds received through FedNow® are generally available immediately upon receipt: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Although Campus Federal does not charge fees to receive, the sending financial institution could charge the sender a fee.
