Campus Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Solutions Manager to join our team! The primary purpose of this position is to assist Campus Federal in our Mission, to enhance the lives of our members and the communities we serve. This is accomplished by providing excellent service to members and to team members.   A key component of this service is to identify member needs and provide appropriate credit union product solutions that will enhance the lives of our members.  

The Member Solutions Manager will assist AVP-Member Solutions in daily operations and supervising collection activities and staff.  

  • Assist in developing strategies to minimize collection portfolio loss within guidelines set by management for retail, mortgage, and business loans & all deposit accounts.  
  • Assist in designing and administering collection processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead and develop Member Solution staff.  
  • Responsible for staff supervision to include: hiring and training staff; coaching; completing monthly/annual performance evaluations; enforcing/adhering to all policies and procedures as set forth by the credit union; track attendance, monitor, verify, and submit timecards. 
  • Provide backup support to collection function by performing all duties of the following positions as needed: Member Solutions Reps and Member Solutions Specialists.
  • Assist in training collection staff and branch personnel and respond to inquiries on collection procedures and practices. 
  • Responsible for coordinating new product training with HR-Training, as well as required annual training. 
  • Act as liaison with attorneys representing the Credit Union in collection matters
  • Market REO properties and repossessed assets from receipt of title to liquidation/sale
  • Assist in the identification and recommendation of accounts for potential charge off for reporting to the Board of Directors
  • Assist in tracking and reacting to delinquency in an effort to minimize loss. 
  • Assist in activities to ensure federal and state regulations are met in the collection process and all avenues are explored to minimize loss. 
  • Assist in efforts to identify, research, and resolve problems to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiencies in collection area.  Recommend and implement measures to improve efficiencies and ensure service levels are met. 
  • Assist with coordinating and monitoring reports on a regular and as needed basis. 
  • Approving and processing hardship/disaster extensions.
  • Progressive leadership experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years experience or 8 years experience in collections and call center operations 
  • General understanding of Indirect Lending
