Campus Federal was honored to once again support “An Evening for Healers,” the signature fundraising event hosted by the LSU Health Sciences Foundation benefiting LSU Health Shreveport. This annual event shines a light on the first responders and healthcare professionals in Northwest Louisiana who work tirelessly every day to save lives.
Campus Federal has proudly supported this meaningful program for over a decade, standing alongside the community to recognize the extraordinary efforts of local medical heroes. During this year’s event, attendees heard the powerful stories of two patients who overcame traumatic medical challenges. The “Healers” who played a vital role in their care and recovery were highlighted and honored for their life-saving work.
Since its inception, “An Evening for Healers” has raised over $3.5 million in private philanthropic support to address LSU Health Shreveport’s most pressing needs. These funds play a vital role in advancing the institution’s three-part mission of education, patient care and research. Contributions from this event help recruit and retain exceptional faculty physicians, provide world-class educational opportunities for future healthcare professionals, and fuel groundbreaking research that unlocks the mysteries of disease. Every dollar raised helps create a more innovative, compassionate and impactful healthcare environment for the students, faculty, staff and patients served by North Louisiana’s only academic health center.
Campus Federal remains committed to supporting the mission of LSU Health Shreveport and the dedicated professionals who serve the region with compassion and excellence. Participating in “An Evening for Healers” is one of the many ways Campus Federal continues to invest in the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
