Baton Rouge Telco Federal Credit Union, Campus Federal Credit Union, EFCU Financial, La Capitol Federal Credit Union, Neighbors Federal Credit Union and Pelican Credit Union joined together to host the 21st Annual Baton Rouge Area Credit Union Charity Golf Tournament at Santa Maria Golf Course on November 3, 2025. This event raised over $54,000 for Redstick C.A.R.E.S. which helps bridge the gap in access to mental, behavioral and social health services for underserved individuals in the Baton Rouge area. The funds raised through this tournament will directly support outreach programs, care coordination and community-based initiatives that foster resilience and connection.

We are incredibly grateful to the Baton Rouge credit union community for rallying behind our mission,” said Tara Dixon, CEO, Co-Founder of Redstick C.A.R.E.S. “Their support through this tournament helps us expand access to critical mental, behavioral and social health services for those who need it most. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected Baton Rouge.

Each year, the tournament showcases the cooperative spirit that defines credit unions, reflecting their shared commitment to the philosophy of “people helping people.” As not-for-profit financial institutions, credit unions prioritize giving back by supporting their communities, investing in meaningful partnerships and returning earnings to members through lower loan rates, higher dividends and financial education resources.

Thank you to all of the generous sponsors! SWBC Mortgage and Catalyst Corporate Federal Credit Union were the platinum sponsors of the event, and over 150 professionals from credit unions and local businesses supported this great cause.
