Campus Federal Credit Union has begun construction on a new full-service branch located on Airline Highway at the corner of Barringer Foreman Road, next to the Kleinpeter Dairy facility. The project follows the credit union’s recent property purchase and groundbreaking, marking an important investment in expanding access for members throughout Southeast Baton Rouge and neighboring Ascension Parish.

The new branch will replace the nearby location on Antioch Road. Designed to meet members’ expectations for convenience, speed and modern banking technology, the facility will feature a full-service lobby and a detached drive-thru equipped with three Campus Connect Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs). With extended service hours from 7 AM to 7 PM on weekdays and 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturdays, these ITMs connect members with live tellers who can assist with both everyday and more complex transactions.

“This new site represents our commitment to grow alongside our members and the communities we serve,” said Jane Verret, President & CEO of Campus Federal. “With construction now underway, we are excited to bring a more accessible, modern banking experience to families, businesses and individuals who live and work along the Airline Highway corridor.”

The new Campus Federal branch is expected to open at the end of 2026.
