Campus Federal is proud to announce its support of the Feist-Weiller Cancer Center, a Center of Excellence in cancer research, treatment and education. As a recent Bronze Sponsor for the Cancer Center's Life Savers 2024 Gala, credit union representatives enjoyed raising funds at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum to renovate the McDade House, a hospitality house offering temporary lodging for patients undergoing treatment. Originally opened in 1985, the McDade House is one of the nation's first hospital hospitality houses and plays a vital role in supporting patients and their families during challenging times.
Feist-Weiller Cancer Center is supported by the partnership between Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and LSU Health Shreveport. The Cancer Center serves an area with immense need and some of the highest incidences of cancer in North Louisiana. Campus Federal supports the efforts of Feist-Weiller as they work to better the community through treatment, research and education.
