Campus Federal Credit Union, in partnership with Louisiana State University (LSU), proudly hosted its Annual Workplace Financial Education Program Awards Ceremony last week at LSU’s Patrick F. Taylor Hall Auditorium. This event honors LSU staff who have completed the 12-week Workplace Financial Literacy Program, designed to empower employees with practical financial knowledge and tools.

Each year, Campus Federal and LSU collaborate to offer financial education courses to faculty, staff and students year-round. The Workplace Financial Literacy Program, held every fall, provides LSU staff with in-depth learning on topics such as budgeting, saving, credit, loans, investments and homeownership.

This year, 42 graduates from LSU’s Facility Services, Residential Life and Auxiliary Services departments successfully completed the program, dedicating more than 650 combined hours to classroom sessions and assignments. Their commitment reflects LSU’s and Campus Federal’s shared mission to strengthen financial well-being across the campus community. To celebrate their achievement, graduates were recognized at an awards ceremony attended by friends and family.

“Financial literacy is life-changing,” said Zacki Soliman, Business Development & Financial Literacy Officer, Campus Federal. “We’re proud to support LSU employees in gaining the confidence and skills to make informed financial decisions.”
