Campus Federal was the Audio-Visual Sponsor and a Table Host for the 2023 Celebrity Waiter Fundraiser supporting the Norwela Council Boy Scouts of America in Shreveport, LA. At this community event, dinner tables were bare except for tablecloths. Waiters were “tipped” (i.e. donations) based on their fun service while fulfilling requests for utensils, napkins, condiments, drinks and even activities such as singing and dancing during the evening’s dinner of campfire-inspired cuisine. Local community “celebrities” and business leaders served as waiters during the fundraising festivities.
Guests sampled the popcorn sold by the Boy Scouts during their annual popcorn sale which raises funds to support local Scouting programs. The evening’s program honored the Kinsey family for their 30 plus years of service and dedication to the Norwela Council, Boy Scouts of America.
