  • Vice President Human Resources

    Campus Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for a Vice President of Human Resources. Responsible for the oversight and execution of the credit union’s human resources function, including developing and executing effective strategies to attract, develop, reward and retain outstanding employees.  The VP of Human Resources will report to the CEO and partner closely with the Executive Leadership team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and direct programs for all human resources areas including employment, employee relations, compensation, training and development, benefits administration, and equal employment opportunity.
    • Develop policies and programs to meet and anticipate organizational needs. Communicate and assist in the interpretation and implementation of personnel policies. Participate in decisions involving employees.
    • Develop and maintain HRD strategic staffing plan to identify talent within and outside the organization for positions of responsibility. Identify appropriate and effective external sources for candidates for all levels within the organization
    • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function in assisting all managers in talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, and leadership development.
    • Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee engagement evaluated through periodic employee engagement surveys.
    • Develop progressive and proactive compensation program to provide motivation, incentives and rewards for effective performance.
    • Participate with other senior managers to develop and execute short- and long-range corporate strategic and operational plans, policies, programs and systems.
    • Research and monitor national benefits trends. Develop benefit programs that are cost effective and designed to attract top talent and retain valued employees.  Recommend changes in benefits offered as needed.
    • Oversee activities related to credit union’s retirement plans – both qualified and non-qualified plans. Work with third party administrator, attorney, auditors and board regarding all plans.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of the credit union’s training strategy to enhance the knowledge and skills of credit union’s employees.
    • Working with executive management, maintain an organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish credit union goals and objectives.
    • Protect the interests of employees and the credit union in accordance with human resource policies and governmental laws and regulations.

    Requirements:

    • Requires a bachelor's degree in a field related to HRD and a minimum of 5 years of experience in HR. Experience in financial institutions preferred.
    • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within human resource field.
    • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
    • Works under minimal supervision. Reports to the CEO.
    • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

  • Campus Connect Teller

    Campus Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for a part time Campus Connect video teller. Previous teller experience, excellent member contact skills, knowledge and understanding of credit union products and services required. Responsible for providing exceptional member service to current and prospective members through efficient handling of paying and receiving functions as well as inquires and problem resolution via a Campus Connect machine.  

    Duties:

    • Provide exceptional member service by engaging member interaction through an interactive video teller machine  

    • Accurately and promptly performs paying and receiving functions   

    • Recognize needs and actively offer Credit Union products and services to current and prospective members as appropriate  

    • Assume responsibility and is accountable for adherence to Credit Union policies and procedures  

    • Perform general account maintenance  

    • Provide additional member services such as, accept loan payments, issues official checks, process credit card cash advances, etc.  

    • Efficiently handles transactions from multiple screens  

    • Research and resolve member inquiries and problem resolution accurately and timely  

    • Support Credit Union and branch goals through active participation and promotion of sales activities   

    •  Balance cash drawer daily  

    • Responsible for ensuring safety of Credit Union assets  

    • Operate both Campus Connect machine and XP  

    • Perform other duties as requested.  

    Schedule: M-F 3:00 pm-7:00 pm and some Saturdays.

  • Member Experience Specialist

    Campus Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for a Member Experience Specialist. The primary purpose of this position is to engage members and identify the reason for their visit. The MES will introduce the member to the appropriate area within the branch to ensure a positive experience and proper traffic flow within the branch.

    Responsibilities:

    • Promptly greet members, guests and visitors as they enter the branch, identify their needs and guide them to the appropriate place within the Branch.
    • Sign in guests and visitors and assign a visitor’s badge. 
    • Secures packages and envelopes that are dropped off and routes them to the proper personnel.
    • Direct members to appropriate employee, log members in to the member service log and monitors member’s wait time and transaction time.
    • Maintains safe deposit access records and mitigates risk during the safe deposit access process.
    • Perform general account maintenance, paying and receiving functions including sales of branch negotiables.
    • Assist with branch morning and evening duties to include opening and closing the vault, working and locking the night depository, setting up the teller station with supplies and cash, and balancing the teller window/branch.
    • Actively offer credit union products and services to current and prospective members.
    • Prevents monetary and operational losses by bringing transactions above authority to a supervisor, properly placing holds for loss mitigation, and superior cash handling.
    • Assume responsibility and is accountable for adherence to credit union policies and procedures.
    • Research and resolve basic member inquiries and problem resolution accurately and timely.
    • Assist in attaining established credit union and branch goals through active participation and promotion of safety activities.
    • Responsible for insuring safety of credit union assets.
    • Provide the first impression for the member and ensure members are served and if they must wait, invite a member to sit in the lounge and offer a beverage while they wait for an FSR to be available.
    • Performs other duties and works on special projects as required

     Requirements:

    • 1-2 years customer service experience, preferably in a financial institution
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Ability to cross-sell products and services
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Professional appearance
    • Ability to communicate effectively

    Campus Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for a part time teller in Baton Rouge.  1-2 years teller experience required.  Applicants must provide exceptional member service to current and prospective members through efficient handling of paying and receiving functions; handling of member inquiries timely and accurately; offering products and services that meet the member’s needs.

  • Part-time Member Service Representative

    Campus Federal Credit Union is now hiring a part time Member Service Representative for our call center. Ability to provide exceptional member service assisting members with inquiries, and account transactions. Identifies member’s needs, and provide solutions to cross sell products and services in all inbound and outbound initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist members via phone, fax, email, web chat, secure messaging

    • Open and close accounts

    • Input loan applications

    • Provide detailed information on business accounts

    • Cross-sell credit union products and services to enhance the overall relationship with members, to improve member retention, and credit union growth

    • Maintain a high knowledge level of all products in order to effectively respond to member inquiries and resolve issues

    • Assist members with accessing online banking, bill payer, automated phone service, remote deposits, external transfers

    • Provides all member service on bill payer issues.

    • Input outgoing wire requests

    • Order checks, credit cards, debit cards, ATM cards, stop payments

    • Updates members mailing address/contact information

    • Research account statements, check copies, copies of deposits

    • Resolve member issues in a timely manner

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years member/customer service experience

    • Strong operational skills

    • Strong customer service skills

    • Ability to cross-sell products and services

    • Pleasant telephone voice

    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
