  • Teller

    Campus Federal Credit Union is now hiring a Teller at our Sherwood location. The primary purpose of this position is to assist Campus Federal in our Mission, to enhance the lives of our members and the communities we serve. This is accomplished by providing excellent service to team members of Campus Federal.  A key component of this service is to identify member needs and provide appropriate credit union product solutions that will enhance the lives of our members while efficiently handling paying and receiving functions and member inquiries timely and accurately.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Provide exceptional member service through accurate and prompt member assistance
    • Perform paying and receiving functions including sales of branch negotiables
    • Assist with branch morning and evening duties to include opening and closing the vault, working and locking the night depository, setting up the teller station with supplies and cash, and balancing the teller window/branch
    • Actively offer Credit Union products and services to current and prospective members
    • Prevent monetary and operational losses by bringing transactions above authority to a supervisor, properly placing holds for loss mitigation, and superior cash handling
    • Assume responsibility and is accountable for adherence to Credit Union policies and procedures
    • Perform general account maintenance
    • Research and resolve basic member inquiries and problem resolution accurately and timely
    • Assist in attaining established Credit Union and branch goals through active participation and promotion of sales activities
    • Responsible for ensuring safety of Credit Union assets

     

    Perform other duties as requested.

  • Loan Operations Collateral Specialist

    Campus Federal Credit Union

    • has an opening for a Loan Operations Collateral Specialist. The primary purpose of this position is to assist Campus Federal in our Mission, to enhance the lives of our members and the communities we serve. Providing excellent service to members and to team members of Campus Federal accomplishes this purpose. 

       Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Real Estate 
        • Perform a quality assurance and compliance check on all real estate secured consumer/retail, and mortgage loans to adhere to CFCU policy & guidelines as well as state and federal regulations; identify errors; write exceptions; exercise authority to correct as needed.
        • Ensure Loan Officer collected HMDA data is entered correctly in the HMDA system
        • Process Subordination Requests; obtain approval
        • Track & process re-inscriptions of mortgage for all real estate secured loans to ensure collateral positions are retained 
        • Quote payoff for all real estate secured loans
        • Participate in the Collateral Valuation Program (appraisal) for retail real estate secured loans by ordering appraisal, reviewing, and accepting/denying evaluation per regulation.
        • Process Closed Loan Report to ensure collateral is released and mortgages are canceled timely
      • Motor Vehicle
        • Perform a quality assurance and compliance review of all motor vehicle and/or UCC Collateralized loans to ensure loans meet CFCU’s guidelines and policies as well as adhere to all federal and state regulations; identify errors; write exceptions; exercise authority to correct errors
        • Perfect vehicle & boat, motor, trailer collateral for direct loans
          • Determine documentation, taxes, and fees; complete and process paperwork to obtain vehicle transfer and/or lien recordation through appropriate state Tag Agency/Secretary of State/Coast Guard/FAA/Wildlife & Fisheries as applicable; exercise authority to correct as needed; maintain follow-up for receipt of lien perfected collateral; mail license plates 
          • Ensure electronic lien & title entries are accurately completed
      • Act as back-up for Loan Document Specialist, Consumer Loan Processor, Motor Vehicle Loan Processor, & QA Real Estate Collateral Specialist

      Requirements: 

      • High School Diploma or GED
      • 2 years real estate loan documentation experience
      • 2 years relevant financial institution experience with a concentration on motor vehicle experience and loan documentation
      • Louisiana Notary preferred but not required

  • Sr. Mortgage Loan Processor

    Campus Federal Credit Union

    has an opening for a Sr. Mortgage Loan Processor. The primary purpose of this position is to assist Campus Federal in our Mission, to enhance the lives of our members and the communities we serve. This is accomplished by providing excellent service to members and to team members.   A key component of this service is to identify member needs and provide appropriate credit union product solutions that will enhance the lives of our members.

    This position will assist the Mortgage Lending Department in the responsibilities of the credit union’s first mortgage lending activities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory/secondary market/CFCU lending requirements including loans sold on the secondary market. 

    Responsibilities: 

    • Manage, order and review all third party documentation including, but not limited to, credit bureaus, title reports, appraisals, tax returns, and verifications of employment/assets to identify and address potential issues.
    • Responsible for verifying ratios and verify accuracy of AUS findings and program applicability.
    • Monitor the overall mortgage lending process, identify and resolve issues that could impact timely closure of loans and communicate this to the AVP and loan officer.
    • Distribute and confirm receipt of all required disclosures to members for electronic signature.
    • Responsible for preparing closing packages and coordinate construction loan closings.
    • Coordinate inspections and disburse draws on all construction loans.
    • Insure that all documents requested by underwriter are obtained and accurate including income, assets, and insurance.
    • Update the mortgage application system with all accurate information. 
    • Responsible for ensuring loan is prepared for lock with investor.
    • Conduct a review and verify all documentation for accuracy to ensure it aligns with findings, completeness and is in compliance.
    • Submit all completed mortgage loan files to investor for approval.
    • Review underwriting conditions from the investor and obtain necessary documentation to obtain final approval and a Clear to Close.
    • Communicate effectively and often with the loan officer and members during the loan process regarding loan status.
    • Coordinate loan closings with member, lender, realtor and attorney. 
    • Maintain thorough understanding of various investor’s guidelines and regulatory issues.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with members, investors and title companies.

    Requirements:   

    • High School Diploma/GED required 
    • Minimum 1 year of mortgage lending experience preferred.

  • Member Service Representative

    Campus Federal Credit Union

    is now hiring a Member Service Representative to join our team in the Member Relations Center. The primary purpose of this position is to assist Campus Federal in our Mission, to enhance the lives of our members and the communities we serve. This is accomplished by providing excellent service to members and to team members. A key component of this service is to identify member needs and provide appropriate credit union product solutions that will enhance the lives of our members while assisting with all requests through our inbound and outbound initiatives.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Assists member with inquiries and product servicing via phone, fax, email, web and video chat, and secure messaging
    • Processes varies member service requests including financial transactions, check orders, Debit/Credit cards, fraud disputes, stop payment requests, and ACH originations
    • Maintains a high knowledge level of all products and services in order to effectively respond to member inquiries and resolve issues
    • Actively cross-sells additional products and services to achieve Credit Union goals
    • Assists members with accessing all Credit Union digital service offerings
    • Process outgoing wire requests accurately and timely
    • Communicates suspected member account abuse including potential red flags, elder abuse, or regulatory issues
    • Updates members’ mailing address and contact information after diligent member authentication
    • Responsible for compliance with all required regulations and policies

    Requirements: 

    • High School diploma/GED and two years of experience in the financial service industry.

  • Financial Service Representative

    Campus Federal Credit Union seeks a Financial Service Representative to join our team.     Financial Service Representatives provide current and prospective members’ exceptional service using a consultative sales approach to become the member’s trusted advisor through every stage of their life.

    Responsibilities:

    • Actively cross-sell additional products and services by identifying the financial needs of current and prospective members and offers appropriate credit union solutions
    • Promotes business for the Credit Union by maintaining good member relations and referring members to appropriate in-house personnel and Credit Union affiliates for new services
    • Assist in attaining established Credit Union and branch goals through active participation and promotion of sales management actives including outbound calling program
    • Assumes responsibility and is accountable for adherence to Credit Union policies and procedures
    • Handles routine member inquires, financial transactions, account maintenance and problem resolution in an accurate and timely manner
    • Actively participates in in-house consumer lending training to prepare for basic lending limits.
    • Maintains a working knowledge of all Credit Union products and services
    • Ability to assist at other branches in the region based on staffing needs
    • May assist the teller line, as needed to include processing teller transactions and mentoring tellers
    • Travel as required for training and development

    Please note: This position may not have lending authority and will not be allowed to take mortgage loan applications without MLO registration. 

    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma/GED and minimum of two years of experience in a financial institution
    • Knowledge of banking rules and regulations
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
