  • Vice President of Human Resources

    Campus Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for a Vice President of Human Resources. Responsible for the oversight and execution of the credit union’s human resources function, including developing and executing effective strategies to attract, develop, reward and retain outstanding employees. The VP of Human Resources will report to the CEO and partner closely with the Executive Leadership team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and direct programs for all human resources areas including employment, employee relations, compensation, training and development, benefits administration, and equal employment opportunity.

    • Develop policies and programs to meet and anticipate organizational needs. Communicate and assist in the interpretation and implementation of personnel policies. Participate in decisions involving employees.

    • Develop and maintain HRD strategic staffing plan to identify talent within and outside the organization for positions of responsibility. Identify appropriate and effective external sources for candidates for all levels within the organization

    • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function in assisting all managers in talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, and leadership development. 

    • Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee engagement evaluated through periodic employee engagement surveys.

    • Develop progressive and proactive compensation program to provide motivation, incentives and rewards for effective performance. 

    • Participate with other senior managers to develop and execute short- and long-range corporate strategic and operational plans, policies, programs and systems.

    • Research and monitor national benefits trends. Develop benefit programs that are cost effective and designed to attract top talent and retain valued employees. Recommend changes in benefits offered as needed. 

    • Oversee activities related to credit union’s retirement plans – both qualified and non-qualified plans. Work with third party administrator, attorney, auditors and board regarding all plans.

    • Oversee the development and implementation of the credit union’s training strategy to enhance the knowledge and skills of credit union’s employees.

    • Working with executive management, maintain an organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish credit union goals and objectives.

    • Protect the interests of employees and the credit union in accordance with human resource policies and governmental laws and regulations.

    • Work as project facilitator on assigned projects.

    • Perform other duties as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Requires a bachelor's degree in field related to HRD and a minimum of 5 years of experience in related field.

    • Experience in financial institutions preferred.

    • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within human resource field.

    • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

    • Works under minimal supervision.

    • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

    • Reports to the CEO.

  • Part Time Member Service Representative - Call Center

    Campus Federal Credit Union now hiring a part time Member Service Representative for our call center. Ability to provide exceptional member service assisting members with inquiries, and account transactions. Identifies member’s needs, and provide solutions to cross sell products and services in all inbound and outbound initiatives. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist members via phone, fax, email, web chat, secure messaging

    • Open and close accounts

    • Input loan applications

    • Provide detailed information on business accounts

    • Cross-sell credit union products and services to enhance the overall relationship with members, to improve member retention, and credit union growth

    • Maintain a high knowledge level of all products in order to effectively respond to member inquiries and resolve issues

    • Assist members with accessing online banking, bill payer, automated phone service, remote deposits, external transfers

    • Provides all member service on bill payer issues.

    • Input outgoing wire requests

    • Order checks, credit cards, debit cards, ATM cards, stop payments

    • Updates members mailing address/contact information

    • Research account statements, check copies, copies of deposits

    • Resolve member issues in a timely manner

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years member/customer service experience Strong operational skills

  • Help Desk Manager - Baton Rouge

    Campus Federal Credit Union has immediate opening for a Help Desk Manager in Baton Rouge.  Responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining all activities of the credit union’s Help Desk Team and On Call Rotation.  Will also serve as a Project Manager for IT initiatives as designated by the VP of IT.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain constant vigilance of the helpdesk queue (emails and phone calls).

    • Ensure that the helpdesk is appropriately staffed at all times, and providing world class service.

    • Identify trends in the helpdesk requests and proactively initiate mitigating actions. 

    • Review helpdesk case notes and resolutions to ensure tickets are being worked as expected and proper documentation is maintained at all times.

    • Design, implement, and maintain helpdesk system configuration to meet the needs of our end users, IT team members and the credit union management.

    • Ensure that helpdesk requests are being serviced per the department guidelines, and that all calls to the help desk get properly logged into the system.

    • Analyze the activities and recommend ways to improve the performance of the helpdesk team.

    • Maintain up to date documentation of the credit union’s processes and applications.

    • Maintain an accurate hardware inventory, verified by site visits at least annually.

    • Assist with hardware, software, and service purchases and maintenance renewals.  Including budgeting and tracking of purchases.

    • Work with end users to create, distribute and maintain reports from the helpdesk system.

    • Work as project facilitator on assigned projects.

    • Takes lead on IT projects including but not limited to: computer and peripheral equipment configuration and replacement, Virtual Desktop image configurations, third party application planning and implementation, hardware and software upgrades, etc.

    • Stay informed on the developments in the Technologies we use. Make recommendations on how the new developments can improve our processes.

    • Creates on-call schedule and facilitates and swaps needed.  Ensures that alerts that happen during on-call hours are handled properly according to our on-call guidelines.  Participates in the on-call rotation.

    • Manages Help Desk team members’ time cards, including vacation, sick time, and supplemental pay.

    • Conducts Performance Reviews of Help Desk team members’ through our Monthly Assessment process.

    Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years in a helpdesk or similar role providing hands on technical support.

    • Technology certifications and Associates in the field of technology are a plus. 

    • Technologies include but are not limited to: Cisco Unified Communications, Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Virtualization Technologies, Networking fundamentals, Third Party applications used by the credit union.

    • Ability to multi-task, train helpdesk team members and end users, analyze and troubleshoot technical issues.

    • Able to work under limited supervision.
