  • Loan Closing Specialist - Home Equity & Lot, Baton Rouge

    Campus Federal Credit Union seeks experienced Loan Closing Specialist to process home equity and lot loans. This position will serve as primary liaison between the member, the Loan Officer, and the title company for all home equity mortgage loans and lot loans.

    Candidates should be friendly and professional and have excellent customer service skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify HMDA reportable loans and collect HMDA data
    • Guarantee the fulfillment of all state and federal regulations as well as all credit union policies to minimize non-credit risk.  Exercise authority to correct as needed.
    • Ensure approved loans meet CFCU’s Loan Policy; ensure transaction was approved under proper lending authority.
    • Work with title company from opening title to final closing
    • Manage the documentation risk to CFCU for home equity & lot loans; make documentation decisions

    Requirements: 

    • One year of loan operations experience, loan documentation and processing experience; real estate documentation & process preferred
    • Knowledge of federal & state regulations as they affect loans with specifics for home equity & lot
    • Excellent math & typing skills
    • Good reasoning ability
    • Proficient in the use of PC, 10 key adding machine, Word, Excel
    • Strong customer service skills

  • Digital Delivery Relationship Specialist

    Campus Federal Credit Union has immediate opening for a Digital Delivery Relationship Specialist. Applicants must be able to manage, implement and maintain the Credit Union’s technologies. Technologies include but are not limited to: Campus Federal’s digital services, such as online banking, online applications and websites. Project Management Software, Wordpress, Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Jira ticketing system, video software. HTML, CSS and comfort editing basic PHP and VB scripting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with team members from various internal departments, such as Marketing, Operations, Information Systems, Business Services and Lending to develop and promote the Credit Union’s digital services.
    • Assist in managing projects with internal staff and selected third-party companies to implement systems related to the Credit Union’s digital services.
    • Integrate improvements to the Credit Union's current processes as technologies change through the assistance of analysis, testing and launch of digital services.
    • Monitor and manage Credit Union's existing digital services to ensure all are functioning for the best member experience.
    • Support internal staff through extensive knowledge of the Credit Union’s digital services and consistent management of possible issues and solutions.
    • Design, develop, and maintain the Credit Union’s websites: Intranet, all committee websites, corporate website and all sites/portals related to Campus Federal's digital services, as well as assist in managing the technical aspects of these services: domain names, SSL certificates, hosting services, and more.
    • Prepare reports on the data of Campus Federal's digital services to help improve the efficiency, effectiveness and security of these services.
    • Research and recommend new technologies in the area of digital financial services.

    Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.
    • Knowledge of: various digital services, especially financial; account aggregation systems; comfort using mobile platforms, and problem-solving.
    • Excellent verbal and writing skills, effectively communicate with internal teams and vendors, be enthusiastic to research and dive deep into digital financial services, be comfortable working with new technologies.
    • Thinking critically in order to troubleshoot and support member and staff digital issues is required.
    • Comfortable working with new technologies.

    Schedule: 

    40 hours per week between the hours of 7am and 6pm. In case of a service down emergency, team members must be willing to work during non-business hours and days.  These hours are subject to change and will be dictated by the need to support Campus Federal’s digital services.

  • Internal Auditor

    Campus Federal Credit Union has immediate opening for an Internal Auditor to oversee the intneral and external audit functions for the Credit Union. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk-based audit plan covering all functions, departments and processes of Campus Federal.
    • Coordinate and conduct periodic and special audits of operations and records not specified in audit plan as needed. 
    • Maintain audit work papers to evidence work performed and support conclusions reported. 
    • Prepare formal reports documenting audits performed and their results; prepare written evaluations on effectiveness of existing systems policies and procedures. 
    • Discuss any irregularities or deficiencies uncovered during audits with department managers, recommend resolutions and follow up to see that required changes are instituted. 
    • Prepare reports and material for the Supervisory Committee to include minutes, quarterly reports and other documentation for Supervisory Committee meetings. 
    • Monitor employee accounts for suspicious behavior or financial activity in violiation of Campus Federal policy; report policy violations to HR and Risk Managment. Notify management of noted problems, recommend corrective action, and document management responses. Prepare quarterly reports noting any policy violations. 
    • Monitor, investigate and act on member compalints/claims refferred to the Risk Management department and/or Supervisory Committee. 
    • Provide information, guidance and recommendations for necessary corrective action to managers, employees and members inquiring about various situations, including but not limited to audit funcations and credit union policies. 
    • Ensure the verification of member accounts is performed in accordance with NCUA regulations. 
    • Support the external audit function and/or NCUA examination by assisting outside auditors and examiners in reconciling discrepancies, preparing work papers and providing information. Act as liasion between external auditors and/or NCUA examiner and management. 

    Requirements: 

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
    • 2-4 years experience in internal audit, preferably in a financial institution.
    • Detailed oriented, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and PC skils. 
    • Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures in internal audit. 
    • Certification is preferred.

Responsibile for providing exceptional member service to current and prospective members through prompt and efficient paying and receiving functions; offering products and procedures that fit the members' needs; handling member inquiries accurately and timely. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional member service through accurate and prompt member assistance.
    • Perform paying and receiving functions.
    • Responsible for ensuring the safety of Credit Union assets. 
    • Assist in attaining established Credit Union and branch goals through active participation and promotion of sale management activities.
    • Actively offer Credit Union products and services to current and prospective members. 
    • Research and resolve member inquiries and problem resolution accurately and timely. 
    • Assist Teller Supervisor with coaching and supervision of teller staff as needed. 

    Requirements: 

    • 2+ years teller experience
