  • Vice President of Human Resources

    Campus Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for a Vice President of Human Resources. Responsible for the oversight and execution of the credit union’s human resources function, including developing and executing effective strategies to attract, develop, reward and retain outstanding employees. The VP of Human Resources will report to the CEO and partner closely with the Executive Leadership team.


    • Plan and direct programs for all human resources areas including employment, employee relations, compensation, training and development, benefits administration, and equal employment opportunity.

    • Develop policies and programs to meet and anticipate organizational needs. Communicate and assist in the interpretation and implementation of personnel policies. Participate in decisions involving employees.

    • Develop and maintain HRD strategic staffing plan to identify talent within and outside the organization for positions of responsibility. Identify appropriate and effective external sources for candidates for all levels within the organization

    • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function in assisting all managers in talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, and leadership development. 

    • Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee engagement evaluated through periodic employee engagement surveys.

    • Develop progressive and proactive compensation program to provide motivation, incentives and rewards for effective performance. 

    • Participate with other senior managers to develop and execute short- and long-range corporate strategic and operational plans, policies, programs and systems.

    • Research and monitor national benefits trends. Develop benefit programs that are cost effective and designed to attract top talent and retain valued employees. Recommend changes in benefits offered as needed. 

    • Oversee activities related to credit union’s retirement plans – both qualified and non-qualified plans. Work with third party administrator, attorney, auditors and board regarding all plans.

    • Oversee the development and implementation of the credit union’s training strategy to enhance the knowledge and skills of credit union’s employees.

    • Working with executive management, maintain an organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish credit union goals and objectives.

    • Protect the interests of employees and the credit union in accordance with human resource policies and governmental laws and regulations.

    • Work as project facilitator on assigned projects.

    • Perform other duties as required.


    • Requires a bachelor's degree in field related to HRD and a minimum of 5 years of experience in related field.

    • Experience in financial institutions preferred.

    • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within human resource field.

    • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

    • Works under minimal supervision.

    • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

    • Reports to the CEO.

  • Part Time Member Service Representative - Call Center

    Campus Federal Credit Union now hiring a part time Member Service Representative for our call center. Ability to provide exceptional member service assisting members with inquiries, and account transactions. Identifies member’s needs, and provide solutions to cross sell products and services in all inbound and outbound initiatives. 


    • Assist members via phone, fax, email, web chat, secure messaging

    • Open and close accounts

    • Input loan applications

    • Provide detailed information on business accounts

    • Cross-sell credit union products and services to enhance the overall relationship with members, to improve member retention, and credit union growth

    • Maintain a high knowledge level of all products in order to effectively respond to member inquiries and resolve issues

    • Assist members with accessing online banking, bill payer, automated phone service, remote deposits, external transfers

    • Provides all member service on bill payer issues.

    • Input outgoing wire requests

    • Order checks, credit cards, debit cards, ATM cards, stop payments

    • Updates members mailing address/contact information

    • Research account statements, check copies, copies of deposits

    • Resolve member issues in a timely manner

  • Full Time Teller - Baton Rouge 

    Campus Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for a full time Teller at our Perkins branch to provide exceptional member service to current and prospective members through efficient handling of paying and receiving functions; handling of member inquiries timely and accurately; providing products and services that meet the members’ needs.  


    • Provide exceptional member service through accurate and prompt member assistance.

    • Perform paying and receiving functions including sales of branch negotiables. 

    • Assist with branch morning and evening duties to include opening and closing the vault, working and locking the night depository, setting up the teller station with supplies and cash, and balancing the teller window/branch.

    • Actively offer Credit Union products and services to current and prospective members.

    • Prevent monetary and operational losses by bringing transactions above authority to a supervisor, properly placing holds for loss mitigation, and superior cash handling. 

    • Assume responsibility and is accountable for adherence to Credit Union policies and procedures. 

    • Perform general account maintenance.

    • Research and resolve basic member inquiries and problem resolution accurately and timely. 

    • Assist in attaining established Credit Union and branch goals through active participation and promotion of sales activities.  

    • Responsible for ensuring safety of Credit Union assets. 

    • Perform other duties as requested.

    • Schedule is 40 hours per week, including some Saturdays.

  • Mortgage Loan Processor I - Baton Rouge

    Campus Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for a Mortgage Loan Processor I in Baton Rouge. This position will assist the Mortgage Loan Underwriter in the responsibilities of the credit union’s first mortgage lending activities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory/secondary market/CFCU lending requirements including loans sold on the secondary market. 


    • Order flood certifications, appraisals, and title requests on all loan files

    • Order inspections and disburse draws on all construction loans

    • Insure that all documents requested by underwriter are obtained

    • Lock all loans with investor

    • Compile and submit all credit documents required by investor

    • Communicate effectively and often with members during loan process regarding loan status

    • Insure that all conditions noted by investor are met prior to loan going to closing

    • Prepare closing packages and coordinate construction loan closings

    • Schedule loan closings

    • Maintain thorough understanding of various investor’s guidelines and regulatory issues

    • Develop and maintain relationships with members, investors and title companies

    • Cross-train for the closer/shipper position to act as backup for that position

    • Perform other duties as requested

  • Loan Operations Specialist I - Motor Vehicle

    Campus Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for a Loan Operations Specialist I - Motor Vehicle. This position will perform quality assurance and compliance checks for all motor vehicle and/or UCC collateralized loans to ensure compliance with CFCU’s guidelines & policies, as well as adhere to all federal & state regulations and has the authority to make corrections as needed.


    • Audit

    • Perform quality assurance and compliance review on all motor vehicle and/or UCC collateralized loans to ensure loans meet CFCU’s guideline and policies as well as adhere to all federal and state regulations; identify errors; write exceptions; exercise authority to correct errors

    • Audit Invoices from DDI-Premier Title – authorize payment by Finance Dept
      Operational Activities

    • Determine documentation, taxes, and fees; complete and process paperwork to obtain vehicle transfer and/or lien recordation through appropriate state Tag Agency/Secretary of State/Coast Guard/FAA/Wildlife & Fisheries as applicable; exercise authority to correct if necessary; maintain follow-up for receipt of lien perfected collateral; mail license plates to members

    • Reconcile all dollars collected and spent for lien perfection including writing official checks and balancing the general ledger account

    • Maintain Pending Title Report (includes perfecting liens) for direct loans with vehicle or UCC collateral; follow-up to ensure receipt of lien perfected collateral

    • Release collateral ensuring debt secured by collateral is paid in full and collateral is released to appropriate party; maintain proper records of release

    • Receive request and process Satisfaction of liens; research and determine if CFCU lien can be released

    • Electronic Lien & Title Entries for direct motor vehicle loan packages

    • Verify ELT fees and post reimbursements for paper titles received

    • Submit service agreements and payment for GAP & MRC; prepare monthly reports for management

    • Process financial transactions on loans to include but not limited to posting of payments, payoffs, reversals, and corrections

    • Assist Loan Operations Manager & Supervisor with projects and duties as needed

    • Perform other duties as requested


    • Knowledge of federal & state regulations as they affect loans

    • Knowledge of Motor Vehicle & Wildlife & UCC processes

    • Knowledge of loan documentation & processing

    • Good math & typing skills

    • Proficient in the use of PC, keyboard, 10 key adding machine, Word, Excel

    • Knowledge of XP software system

    • Louisiana Notary preferred
