  • Consumer Loan Processor

    Campus Federal Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Loan Processor to join our team!

    Responsibilities:

    • Process indirect loan portfolio – 1. Ensure proper documentation. 2. Mail letter & disclosures. 3. Verify receipt of electronic title fees. 4. Balance 1st payment & processing general ledger. 5. Process indirect chargebacks. 6. Ensure indirect loans are properly collateralized & perfected.

    • Loan Review - Perform quality assurance and compliance review of retail loan packages to ensure loans meet CFCU’s guidelines and policies as well as adhere to all federal and state regulations; identify errors; write exceptions; exercise authority to correct errors

    • Operational - Perform maintenance on loans across all lines of business (retail, business, credit card, mortgage); ensure proper documentation & approval; ensure added to imaging system for record keeping.

    Requirements: 

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • One year Loan Operations experience or relevant financial institution experience with a concentration on consumer loans & documentation

  • Member Service Representative - Part Time

    Campus Federal Credit Union now hiring a Part Time Member Service Representative for our Call Center. Ability to provide exceptional member service assisting members with inquiries, and account transactions. Identifies member’s needs, and provide solutions to cross sell products and services in all inbound and outbound initiatives.  

    Responsibilities include 

    • Assist members via phone, fax, email, web chat, secure messaging
    • Open and close accounts
    • Input loan applications
    • Provide detailed information on consumer and business accounts
    • Cross-sell credit union products and services to enhance the overall relationship with members, to improve member retention, and credit union growth
    • Maintain a high knowledge level of all products in order to effectively respond to member inquiries and resolve issues
    • Assist members with accessing online banking, bill payer, automated phone service, remote deposits, external transfers
    • Provides all member service on bill payer issues.
    • Input outgoing wire requests
    • Order checks, credit cards, debit cards, ATM cards, stop payments
    • Updates members mailing address/contact information
    • Research account statements, check copies, copies of deposits
    • Resolve member issues in a timely manner

     Requirements:

  • Business Development Officer

    Campus Federal Credit Union has an opening on our Business Development team to serve as the Business Development Officer in the Shreveport area. The ideal candidate will create value for the credit union and members by executing a business development strategic plan focused on growing business and delivering robust financial education.  Activities are focused to develop a strong stakeholder engagement within our Select Employee Groups (SEGs), Louisiana State University (LSU), FMOL, Foundation partners and other public relations initiatives within our Field of Membership.

    Principal Accountabilities:

    • Serves as liaison between Campus Federal and the various campuses (ex. LSU, FMOL, LSUHSC. LSU Health Shreveport and FRAN U) and our SEGs
    • Identify opportunities, plans and executes Business Development initiatives and activities to include but not limited to the following:
      • Membership Drives
      • Financial Education
      • Service Events
      • Public Relations activities on the assigned Campuses
      • Annual Meeting
      • Annual Open Houses
      • Membership Appreciation Events
      • Ambassador Meetings 
      • Employee, Student and Faculty orientations and registrations
      • Membership in community organizations 
      • Volunteering in the assigned Community and Campuses 
    • Perform ROI calculations for designated activities and events under your responsibility
    • Emphasize Financial Education as a mission driven deliverable for virtual and in-person formats 
    • Build new and maintain existing relationships with Student Groups and Employee Groups such as Student Government, Residential Life, Staff Senates, Faculty Senates and other organizations (Sponsor and community)
    • Initiate and maintain regular contact with key individuals responsible for coordinating employee benefits and employee/faculty orientation programs.
    • Assist the VP of Business Development/Community Relations in planning, budgeting and coordinating special events and sponsor donations.  Maintain, reconcile and update assigned area of the Business Development budget.  
    • Promote growth by prospecting and referring qualified leads to the appropriate in-house personnel and/or Credit Union affiliates for new services. When possible, remotely initiate new membership/account/loan application using technology.
    • Create content for all presentations, flyers and emails that are utilized to grow business.
    • Send follow-up personalized emails after events, orientations, and other engagement opportunities. 
    • Manage all Sponsor Integration efforts and input contact information into designated CRM system.
    • Control all aspects of Community/Employee Service Programs for assigned sponsored events including coordination, securing volunteers, serving as a volunteer and reporting Service Solutions program events in appropriate programs.  Provide photos of the events to marketing for branding and public relations purposes. 
    • Adhere to Campus Federal brand standards in all activities, content and communications
    • Provide reports to VP of Business Development/Community Relations for contacts, opportunities, new accounts (deposit and loan), community, financial education, Event Support, Marketing, performance review and various expense related reports.  
    • Responsible for keeping collateral materials current for employee groups, LSU/FMOL System contacts, and individual contacts including ambassadors 
    • Acquire and maintain excellent product knowledge of both consumer and business services 
    • Function as liaison between the assigned Branch Managers and Campuses.  Assist consumer services as requested. 

    Requirements:

    • 4 year degree in Business Administration, Marketing  or related field 
    • 2 years of sales or public relations experience
    • Experience in financial service industry or creative/ad agency is preferred
    • Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Proficient in using Mobile Devices and video conferencing technology. 
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Member Experience Specialist

    Campus Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for a Member Experience Specialist. The Member Experience Specialist will be the first to engage our guest and introduce them to the appropriate area within the branch to ensure a positive experience and proper traffic flow within the branch.

    Responsibilities:

    • Promptly greet members, guests and visitors as they enter the branch, identify their needs and guide them to the appropriate place within the Branch 
    • Provide the first impression for the member and ensure members are served and if they must wait, invite a member to sit in the lounge and offer a beverage while they wait for an FSR to be available
    • Sign in guests and visitors and assign a visitor’s badge  
    • Secures packages and envelopes that are dropped off and routes them to the proper personnel 
    • Direct members to appropriate employee, log members in to the member service log and monitors members' wait time and transaction time
    • Maintains safe deposit access records and mitigates risk during the safe deposit access process
    • Assist with branch morning and evening duties to include opening and closing the vault, working and locking the night depository, setting up the teller station with supplies and cash, and balancing the teller window/branch
    • Handles routine member inquires, financial transactions, account maintenance and basic problem resolution in an accurate and timely manner
    • Actively offer Credit Union products and services to current and prospective members
    • Prevent monetary and operational losses by bringing transactions above authority to a supervisor, properly placing holds for loss mitigation, and superior cash handling
    • Assume responsibility and is accountable for adherence to Credit Union policies and procedures
    • Assist in attaining established Credit Union and branch goals through active participation and promotion of sales activities 
    • Responsible for ensuring safety of Credit Union assets
