  • Member Service Representative - Part Time

    Campus Federal Credit Union now hiring a Part Time Member Service Representative for our Call Center. Ability to provide exceptional member service assisting members with inquiries, and account transactions. Identifies member’s needs, and provide solutions to cross sell products and services in all inbound and outbound initiatives.  

    Responsibilities include 

    • Assist members via phone, fax, email, web chat, secure messaging
    • Open and close accounts
    • Input loan applications
    • Provide detailed information on consumer and business accounts
    • Cross-sell credit union products and services to enhance the overall relationship with members, to improve member retention, and credit union growth
    • Maintain a high knowledge level of all products in order to effectively respond to member inquiries and resolve issues
    • Assist members with accessing online banking, bill payer, automated phone service, remote deposits, external transfers
    • Provides all member service on bill payer issues.
    • Input outgoing wire requests
    • Order checks, credit cards, debit cards, ATM cards, stop payments
    • Updates members mailing address/contact information

  • Mail Clerk

    Campus Federal Credit Union has immediate opening for Mail Clerk to process all incoming mail deposits/payments/transfers and member mail requests, complete requests for verification of deposits and process lockbox payments and handle the processing of exception reports and other reports that require account monitoring and maintenance.

     Principal Accountabilities:

    • Process incoming mail to include, but not limited to: opening envelopes under dual control, processing deposits, loan payments and account other account requests, such as, account closures, transfer of funds, withdrawals, etc.
    • Verify negotiable instruments for accuracy of amounts, dates, payee, signatures and other required information.
    • Process skip payment letters to include updating loan due dates and assessing appropriate fees as defined by credit union policies and procedures.
    • Open and sort mail under dual control.
    • Process of incoming deposits per member requirements.
    • Maintain accurate log sheets pertaining to client’s daily volume for reporting and monitoring of throughput ratios.
    • Prepare and transmit outgoing packages containing member/businesses daily deposit information and backup documentation.
    • Validate member information and processes verification of deposit requests.
    • Process variety of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
    • Perform account maintenance as requested to clean up the core system database.
    • Receive incoming Levy requests from the IRS and LA Dept. of Revenue, determine balances available, hold funds according to IRS and LDR requirements and send funds according to Levy requirements.
    • Perform other duties as requested.

     Requirements:

    • Experience in XP with posting transactions; teller experience is helpful
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Experience with all Microsoft Office products

  • Courier

    Campus Federal is seeking a part-time Courier to join our team! The Courier is responsible for picking up and distributing mail, packages, and supplies to all Baton Rouge facilities as well as assisting with the routine maintenance of Credit Union facilities and vehicles. Hours are flexible but must be available between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. 

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Performs regularly scheduled runs between Perkins Operations Center and other CFCU branches in Baton Rouge.
    • Delivers and retrieves secure packages at various locations throughout Baton Rouge as requested by Credit Union staff.
    • Picks up supplies and other materials at locations throughout Baton Rouge.
    • Accurately meters letters and packages using appropriate postal regulations and services.
    • Prepares packages for shipment via express services (Fed-Ex, UPS).
    • Assists with distribution of supplies.
    • Assists with routine maintenance and upkeep of Credit Union vehicles.
    • Assists with routine maintenance of Credit Union facilities.
    • Performs other duties as requested

    Education and Experience

    • High School / GED required
    • Louisiana driver’s license with clean driving record required

    Campus Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for a part time teller in Baton Rouge.  1-2 years teller experience required. Applicants must provide exceptional member service to current and prospective members through efficient handling of paying and receiving functions; handling of member inquiries timely and accurately; offering products and services that meet the member’s needs.

  • Multi-Media Designer

    Campus Federal Credit Union is seeking a Multi-Media Designer to manage the design and production of brand and promotional collateral materials along with website management and electronic marketing updates for the credit union.  This position is a key member of the Marketing team tasked with providing marketing collateral for a variety of purposes including assisting the business development function as well as advertising campaigns, projects and other credit union initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with team members to get a clear understanding of their visual communication requirements and develop design concepts that align with the Campus Federal brand
    • Design and produce a variety of images, videos, GIFs, web pages, etc. to be used for website, in-branch, television, radio, newspaper, billboards, direct mail, social media, Google and online advertising
    • Create layouts for magazines, newsletters, newspapers, member communications and other print collateral
    • Contribute new design ideas and preliminary artwork with multiple design concepts
    • Keep informed of developments in design programs, print production methods and materials
    • Act as liaison for printers, mail houses, and other print-related vendors
    • Use Flash/HTML design to update electronic and online presentations
    • Create layouts for websites, digital newsletters and email advertising
    • Multi-task by working on more than one design project at a time
    • Supports the updating of major digital outlets including but not limited to branch TV displays, emails, and outdoor digital displays
    • Work with department in production of video/photo shoots and adapt for internal and external outlets
    • Maintain organized files of design content
    • Work with marketing department to protect and enforce credit union brand
    • Work with compliance department to ensure all collateral adheres to compliance standards
    • Proof all marketing materials
    • Other duties as assigned

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat along with a proficiency in all Adobe creative cloud products particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects and Dreamweaver 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Basic photography and videography skills
    • Knowledge of web design and HTML coding is preferred
    • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization is preferred
    • General understanding of Web Analytics

    Education:

    • BA or BS in Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing or a related field

    Experience and Other Requirements: 

    • Minimum of one year of Graphic Design experience
    • Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to conceptualize and manage project-driven projects
    • Work in a fast paced environment performing multiple tasks and projects and meeting deadlines

    Campus Federal Credit Union has immediate opening for a Branch Manager to support the administration and efficient daily operation of a full service branch office, including operations, lending, product sales, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with the Credit Union's objectives. 

     Principle Accountabilities:

    •  Provide a superior level of member relations and promotes the sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation.
    • Within lending authority, approve/deny loan applications based on applicant’s creditworthiness and Campus Federal loan policies.  This includes loan applications originated by other branch personnel that are above their lending authority.
    • Attain established Credit Union and branch member, loan, and deposit growth goals through active participation in sales management and officer call programs.  
    • Participate in community affairs and outside sales visits to increase the Credit Union's visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunities.
    • Serve as the branch’s subject matter expert relating to more complex loan and deposit account processes and act as liaison between branch personnel and support areas.
    • Promotes business for the Credit Union by maintaining good member relations and referring members to appropriate in-house personnel and Credit Union affiliates for new services.  
    • Resolve member complaints in a manner that will maintain member loyalty and protect the reputation of the credit union.
    • Perform supervisory duties of department staff, either directly or through a subordinate manager. Ensure proper branch staffing. Interview, hire, train, coach, motivate, discipline, and evaluate performance of department staff.
    • Provides continuous training to staff regarding operations and policies.
    • Ensure branch adherence to quality control standards during the lending and account opening processes.
    • Ensure all regulatory, compliance, and sensitive member information is maintained and secured.
