    • Mortgage Loan Processor - Baton Rouge

      Campus Federal Credit Union has an opening for a Mortgage Loan Processor to assist the Mortgage Loan Underwriter in the responsibilities of the Credit Union’s first mortgage lending activities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory/secondary market/CFCU lending requirements including loans sold on the secondary market.

      Responsibilities:

      • Manage, order and review all third party documentation including, but not limited to, credit bureaus, title reports, appraisals, tax returns, and verifications of employment/assets to identify and address potential issues.
      • Responsible for verifying ratios and verify accuracy of AUS findings and program applicability.
      • Monitor the overall mortgage lending process, identify and resolve issues that could impact timely closure of loans and communicate this to the AVP and loan officer.
      • Distribute and confirm receipt of all required disclosures to members for electronic signature.
      • Responsible for preparing closing packages and coordinate construction loan closings.
      • Coordinate inspections and disburse draws on all construction loans.
      • Insure that all documents requested by underwriter are obtained and accurate including income, assets, and insurance.
      • Update the mortgage application system with all accurate information.
      • Responsible for ensuring loan is prepared for lock with investor.
      • Conduct a review and verify all documentation for accuracy to ensure it aligns with findings, completeness and is in compliance.
      • Submit all completed mortgage loan files to investor for approval.
      • Review underwriting conditions from the investor and obtain necessary documentation to obtain final approval and a Clear to Close.
      • Communicate effectively and often with the loan officer and members during the loan process regarding loan status.
      • Coordinate loan closings with member, lender, realtor and attorney.
      • Maintain thorough understanding of various investor’s guidelines and regulatory issues.
      • Develop and maintain relationships with members, investors and title companies.
      • Cross-train for the closer/shipper position to act as backup.

      Requirements: 

      • Minimum 5 years secondary market experience
      • Excellent math & typing skills
      • Essential skills

    • Part-Time Teller - Baton Rouge

      Campus Federal Credit Union has an opening for a part time teller in Baton Rouge.  1-2 years teller experience required.  Applicants must provide exceptional member service to current and prospective members through efficient handling of paying and receiving functions; handling of member inquiries timely and accurately; offering products and services that meet the member’s needs.

      Responsibilities:

      • Provide exceptional member service through accurate and prompt member assistance.
      • Perform paying and receiving functions.
      • Actively offer Credit Union products and services to current and prospective members.
      • Assume responsibility and is accountable for adherence to Credit Union policies and procedures.
      • Perform general account maintenance.
      • Research and resolve member inquiries and problem resolution accurately and timely.
      • Assist in attaining established Credit Union and branch goals through active participation and promotion of sales activities.
      • Responsible for ensuring safety of Credit Union assets.

      Benefits include:  Generous paid vacation, 401K, and paid sick leave.  

      Hours: Up to 30 hours a week and Saturdays.
