    • Financial Service Representative

      Campus Federal Credit Union is seeking a Financial Service Representative in our call center! The primary purpose of this position is to assist Campus Federal in our Mission, to enhance the lives of our members and the communities we serve. This is accomplished by providing excellent service to members and to team members. A key component of this service is to identify member needs and provide appropriate credit union product solutions that will enhance the lives of our members. Financial Service Representatives provide current and prospective members’ exceptional service using a consultative sales approach to become the member’s trusted advisor through every stage of their life.

      Responsibilities:

      • Provides retail deposit and loan products and services to current and prospective members through a consultative sales approach.
      • Within lending authority, approve/deny loan applications based on applicant’s creditworthiness and Campus Federal loan policies.
      • Assist members with complex retail and mortgage lending request.
      • Promotes business for the Credit Union by maintaining good member relations and referring members to appropriate in-house personnel and Credit Union affiliates for new services.
      • Assist in attaining established Credit Union and branch goals through active participation and promotion of sales activities including outbound calling program.
      • Assumes responsibility and is accountable for adherence to Credit Union policies and procedures.
      • Assists member with inquiries and product servicing via phone, fax, email, web and video chat, and secure messaging.
      • Processes varies member service requests including financial transactions, check orders, Debit/Credit cards, fraud disputes, stop payment requests, and ACH originations.
      • Maintains a high knowledge level of all products and services in order to effectively respond to member inquiries and resolve issues.
      • Assists members with accessing all Credit Union digital service offerings.
      • Process outgoing wire requests accurately and timely.
      • Communicates suspected member account abuse including potential red flags, elder abuse, or regulatory issues.
      • Updates members’ mailing address and contact information after diligent member authentication.

      Education and Experience:

      • High School Diploma/GED and minimum of two years of experience in a financial institution
      • Lending experience preferred
      • Knowledge of banking rules and regulations
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Community Development /Fin Ed Officer

      Campus Federal Credit Union has an immediate opening for a Community Development and Financial Education Officer. The primary purpose of this position is to assist Campus Federal in our Mission, to enhance the lives of our members and the communities we serve. This is accomplished by providing excellent service to team members of Campus Federal. This position will facilitate financial literacy education programs related to the goals of Campus Federal Credit Union. The secondary purpose is to perform sales and member growth activities to support the strategic goals of the credit union.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Assist Vice President of Business Development and Community Relations with member recruiting, conducting and planning sales events/meetings, budgeting, and coordinating special events and sponsor donations to provide optimum exposure and awareness.
      • Serve as liaison between Campus Federal and the statewide Campuses (LSU, FMOL, LSUHSC and FRAN U), and faith-based and other community organizations in the underserved outreach areas identified in the financial education and community plan.
      • Manage the statewide Financial Education Program / curriculum to achieve strategic objectives through classroom training, seminars, presentations, lunch-n-learns, and other events that support the Financial Education goals of the credit union.
      • Update the annual Financial and Community Education Plan and submit for approval.
      • Performs other duties as required by the Vice President of Business Development and Community Relations.

      Requirements:

      • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field.
      • 5 years sales or public relations experience.
      • Experience in financial service industry or creative/ad agency is preferred.
      • Must possess a strong aptitude in public communication, sales and other interpersonal relationship management skills.
      • Excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading skills, and public speaking.
      • Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff and volunteers.
      • Excellent professionalism and interpersonal skills to promote department and member synergy.
      • Ability to complete assigned tasks, reports, and projects with minimal supervision in a timely manner.
      • Must maintain a high level of member service in an ethical and quality manner.
      • Maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
      • Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Salesforce CRM experience is a plus. Proficient in using mobile devices, apps, mail merges, email and web searches.

    • Help Desk Manager

      Campus Federal Credit Union has immediate opening for a Help Desk Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to assist Campus Federal in our Mission, to enhance the lives of our members and the communities we serve. This is accomplished by developing a highly effective team of employees to their highest potential through coaching and leadership. Responsible for ensuring that outstanding service is delivered to internal members. The Help Desk Manager will plan, implement, and maintain all activities of the Campus Federal Credit Union Help Desk Team and on-call rotation. They will also serve as a Project Manager for IT initiatives as designated by the Vice-President of Information Technology.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Maintain constant vigilance of the Help Desk queue (email, phone, and general requests)
      • Ensure Help Desk is adequately staffed at all times while committing to Service Excellence
      • Identify trends in the Help Desk requests and proactively initiate to mitigation of potential incidents and problems
      • Review Help Desk tickets and queue to ensure SLA for response and resolutions
      • Design, implement, and maintain the Help Desk system to meet the needs of our end users and department team members
      • Coach Help Desk team members for continuous improvement and implement a plan to improve customer satisfaction scores
      • Maintain documentation of IT processes and applications
      • Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory and EoL equipment
      • Assist with hardware and software purchases and maintenance renewals, including budgeting and tracking of purchases
      • Work with end users to create, distribute and maintain reports from the Help Desk system
      • Work in various roles on assigned projects including, but not limited to:
        • Project Manager on computer and peripheral equipment configuration and replacement

      • Stay up to date on existing and upcoming developments in technologies in use

      • Requirements:

    • Member Experience Specialist

      Campus Federal Credit Union has immediate opening for a Member Experience Specialist at our new Mortgage and Business Center located on Siegen Lane. The Member Experience Specialist will be the first to engage our members and introduce them to the appropriate area within the branch to ensure a positive experience and proper traffic flow within the branch.

      Responsibilities Include:

      • Promptly greet members, guests and visitors as they enter the branch, identify their needs and guide them to the appropriate place within the Branch
      • Provide the first impression for the member and ensure members are served and if they must wait, invite a member to sit in the lounge and offer a beverage while they wait for an FSR to be available
      • Sign in guests and visitors and assign a visitor’s badge
      • Secures packages and envelopes that are dropped off and routes them to the proper personnel
      • Direct members to appropriate employee, log members in to the member service log and monitors members' wait time and transaction time
      • Maintains safe deposit access records and mitigates risk during the safe deposit access process
      • Assist with branch morning and evening duties to include opening and closing the vault, working and locking the night depository, setting up the teller station with supplies and cash, and balancing the teller window/branch
      • Handles routine member inquires, financial transactions, account maintenance and basic problem resolution in an accurate and timely manner
      • Actively offer Credit Union products and services to current and prospective members
      • Prevent monetary and operational losses by bringing transactions above authority to a supervisor, properly placing holds for loss mitigation, and superior cash handling
